ROCK ISLAND — Authorities recovered a body from the Columbia River this morning just west of Rock Island Dam that matches the description of a man presumed to have drowned earlier this month.

Autopsy confirms murder-suicide

CASHMERE — Autopsy results have confirmed a finding of murder-suicide in the deaths of a mother and daughter discovered dead in their home last Thursday, said Lt. Jerry Moore of the Chelan County Sheriff's Office.

WENATCHEE — As fascinated onlookers clicked cameras and cell phones, state Fish and Wildlife officials this morning darted a young black bear treed in a Cherry Street backyard.
